We've been having ourselves a good ole chuckle today what with the story of Ms. Paula Deen getting herself canned by The Food Network. Even after The Queen of the Deens issued some half-hearted apologies about using the "n word."
One of the laughs we had concerns the fact that we blogged about the lawsuit that was filed against Paula in March of 2012 by one Ms. Lisa Jackson who considered Deen Enterprises a hostile work environment.
Is the world just catching up to the allegations that Ms. Deen throws the "n word" around like it's a stick of butter? We can't quite figure out if Paula is denying she uses the word or is admitting it but claiming that's how southerners talk? It's all so dreadfully confusing.
Frankly, we are surprised that she hasn't been fired before for trying to kill people with her recipes.
