Why the Hell is the Whole World Blowing Up?

It's only been two weeks since two pressure cooker bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and since that time there have been a lot of, shall we say, weird explosions.

Not the usual suicide bombing, IED types in the usual places like Iran, Iraq, Syria, etc., but OTHER unexpected explosions.

Take the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion.  Please.  And scatter the remains all over your fields that need obscene amounts of ammonium nitrate.

Despite the fact that the plant hadn't been inspected for two years and stored enough chemicals to blow the town off the face of the earth (which it just about did), many of the town's inhabitants don't blame the owner even though he clearly took less than a passing interest in those silly governmental requirements a/k/a LAWS.

Then a factory blew up in Bangladesh which killed over three hundred people.  It may not surprise you to learn that the building was illegally constructed and that its owner probably didn't know or care that there might be things like laws that should have prevented him from jamming thousands of workers in the factory where they made horrible clothing for export.

Now comes word of an explosion in French apartment building that killed three and injured fourteen, the cause of which is unknown.

And today there was what appears to be a natural gas explosion in Prague which injured at least 40 people.

So what gives with all of these explosions?  Are they just salutes to unbridled greed?  Or is there something else afoot?  Where will the next blast to kingdom come occur?
