Fly Me. I'm Insane.

There you are, sitting in your seat, waiting for your American Airlines' flight from Dallas to Chicago to take off, when all of a sudden one of the flight attendants gets on the PA system and starts wigging out.

Her rant was aimed at the Captain. She just wanted to let him know he should not take off because the plane was going to crash and that she would not be responsible for the plane crashing.

Needless to say, this is not the type of shit you want to hear when the metal tube you are currently occupying is about to start hurtling through the sky.

First class passengers tackled her. It took six people to restrain the wayward attendant.

The plane did go back to the gate and a new crew was installed.

Now allegedly the attendant who thought she was on a flight to Crazy Town had not taken her meds for her mental illness which is why she freaked out and had some sort of psychotic breakdown while performing her job.

We think that the crew on an airplane needs to be mentally stable. Yes, the mentally ill are often needlessly discriminated against; however, do you really want your flight attendant to be one pill away from a complete breakdown?
