Why the South Lost the War

Yes, that's Paula Deen, America's favorite butter and bourbon guzzler, pictured above looking like Lil Abner's sweetheart, Daisy Mae. Since she hasn't been in the news lately you were no doubt worried that she may have gone into a diabetic coma. Well, worry no more.

Paula actually has a brother named Bubba which should not surprise you. A former Paula Deen Enterprises employee named Lisa Jackson is suing them for exhibiting racist and sexist behavior in the workplace.

She alleges this exchange took place while they were planning Bubba's wedding:

Well what I would really like is a bunch of little niggers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around. Now, that would be a true Southern wedding wouldn't it? But we can't do that because the media would be on me about that.

You know, Paula, you're probably right.
