"Violent Torpedo of Truth" Implodes

In case you hadn't heard, Charlie Sheen is taking his psychotic breakdown on the road. Yes, people actually have bought tickets to watch his implosion. Last night the show opened in Detroit.

Now I ask you -- what in the world would possess Charlie's handlers to go to Motown? Doesn't Detroit have enough problems without this lunatic multimillionaire showing up with his goddesses?

People showed up; 5100 of them to be precise but it wasn't long before they started chanting, "Refund! Refund!" and/or walking out in droves. One woman said she paid $150 for two seats. By my calculations that would be $75 per ticket which is about $74 too much.

In case you're wondering why anyone would pay to see this, one fan equated it to going to a NASCAR race. "You're just waiting for an accident to happen." Apparently, the wait was short.

Hah! That is a very apt description of the whole phenomenon.
