Americans' insatiable lust for cheap plastic products is going to kill them especially if they have a need to put them in their mouths.
Pictured above is a Toy Dart Gun that sold exclusively at Family Dollar Stores for $1.50. Get this -- there are nearly two million of them and look how tiny they are! Man, you could probably fit four or five of them into your mouth at any one time!
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said a 9-year-old boy in Chicago and a 10-year-old boy in Milwaukee died after they chewed on the one-inch soft plastic darts, which slipped into their throats.
Now I'm wondering why two kids 9 and 10 years old needed to chew on these darts. I'm thinking if they were into noshing plastic toys damn near anything could have killed them. Is this really a reason to recall a product?
