Suffer the Little Children

First of all, I couldn't take anything a man dressed like this said seriously, but that's just me.

Now that's out of the way let me identify this person. He is the Archbishop of Denver, Colorado named Chaput, and he is standing behind the decisions of Catholic schools in his district to prevent the children of gay and lesbian couples from attending. That's right, based on nothing more than the fact that their parents are of the same gender.

This same brand of bigotry was brought to light in Boston today where another child was denied enrollment in a Catholic school because his parents are lesbians.

Okay, so what are we teaching kids here other than it's okay for your parents to be discriminated against? That who they are is a valid reason for discrimination?

Every child deserves to be loved and if the parents loving them are of the same sex, so be it. It's a whole lot better than the man/child lust that the Catholic Church has found acceptable.
