Too Fat to Kill

This man is Edward Ates (how appropriate) and a New Jersey jury wasn't buying his plea that he was too fat to have shot and killed his son in law in 2006 when he weighed in at 285 lbs.

I mean is 285 lbs. really fat? Yes, if he was five feet tall, but of an average height?

His attorney claimed he was too fat to have run up and downstairs and then driven twenty hours straight to his mother's house in Louisiana.

He should have saved the bullets and just fallen on his victim.
