There will be some changes made to "It's a Small World" in Disneyland. As I recall there is a similar ride at Disneyworld, but I may be mistaken.
The first peek at this amusement came during the 1964 World's Fair and hadn't changed during the ensuing years.
In any event, the dolls will be gone and replaced with animated characters like Aladdin. Is that to keep the terrorist-fearing tourists happy and calm?
Best of all, they are getting rid of the song. Who among us didn't ride through the Small World and come out the other end with homicidal tendencies?
Purists are all in a tizzy about the changes. Guaranteed whatever song they come up with will be just as annoying.
