Talkin' till the walls come tumblin' down

On Earth Day, Patricia Lancaster resigned as New York City's Commissioner of the Department of Buildings, a post she had held for six years.


Recently there have been horrific accidents and deaths which occurred under the watch of the Department of Buildings.


In her resignation, Ms. Lancaster said she was proud of her 'ground-breaking' work, but methinks she should have chosen another adjective.
