"It was like taking a big shit," says new mom about birthing.
Who says kids today are out of shape?
Xochitl Parra (say that ten times fast), a 17 year old sophomore from Long Beach, California, gave birth at home in her shower and then cleaned it with Scrubbing Bubbles. She got dressed and then ran and jogged to the hospital. She still had the placenta and the baby had his umbilical cord still attached.
Alejandro weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz.
Leading by example, Xochitl will be teaching a new physical education course for teen-aged mothers called, "Stop, Drop and Birth." The final for the course will involve a fifty yard dash to the hospital after giving birth in the school locker room. Advanced course will include cleaning the gym showers.
