Fly Me to the Repair Shop

I have ranted before about what I consider to be a waste of money -- the space program of the U.S.

Okay, maybe in the scheme of things, what is spent on space exploration is a drop in the bucket compared to the really big ticket items.

However, I maintain it is NOT money well spent.

Once again, we have had a space walk where an astronaut had to repair a torn solar wing on the space station.

If the shuttles aren't falling apart on their own, then the space station is.

I still maintain that if your out of this world vehicles are made out of styrofoam cups and old dental floss, you're going to have difficulties.

Stop spending so much on astronaut diapers and put a few more bucks into the material you construct these things out of.
