I am continually amazed by the number of clergymen who dress in long coats and/or robes.
Pope Benedict XVI is in Turkey meeting with a Muslim clergyman and both of them are wearing long white dresses!
What is up with this?
Is it a medieval hangover or is it just that more than a few religion-oriented guys enjoy wearing coats or robes that kiss the floor?
Wouldn't they be more comfortable in a nice pair of pants?
Are they wearing pantyhose underneath? Because if they are that is proof positive that they're insane. No one in their right mind would voluntarily wear killer nylons.
