There's No Place Like Home

I appreciate the fact that there are a lot of people who will disagree with me on this one, but I must say it.

Kids who are home schooled are weird.

As I have always told my own children, you don't go to school to learn facts. You go to school to become a social creature, to learn how to get along with others. If you actually learn anything along the way, consider it a bonus. Good teachers don't teach you anything. They make you want to learn.

I have met my share of home schooled kids and I'm sorry, they're strange. They dress in cammo. They have difficulty interacting with people different from them.

School is not an end, but a means. Granted some from Columbine might disagree with me and want to keep their children home, but that's an entirely different reason to home school.

I wish I was home schooled. I really liked my Mommy alot. I didn't like those teachers I had. They wouldn't let me do anything I wanted. And when I was hungry they wouldn't let me open them up and drink their Mommy milk like my Mommy let me do til I decided I didn't want to anymore cause that's the best way my Mommy says.
