Another Crying Miracle

Thousands of religious statues are reported to be crying every year. The latest is in Sacramento, California where a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary is alleged to be crying tears of blood.

One of the believers thinks this portends a disaster. Oh, gee, a disaster? We don't have any of those unless you count the tsunamis, the earthquakes, the hurricanes, etc.

How about we have a laughing or dancing statue? Maybe even a singing one? But no, they're always bawling their eyes out, and it's usually blood.

I'd be a lot more receptive to a cheerful statue.

"Crying" by Roy Orbison. I LOVE THAT SONG! That's what I'd like to see a statue of Mary do.
