This one dude is worth 1,027 Palestinians. Wow.He's Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit and he is being traded by Hamas militants for Palestinian prisoners. A lot of them. We guess that makes Gilad feel really special. He'd been held for over five years.
Politics and life in the Middle East is complicated at best and we don't claim to understand most of it; however, it is interesting that some watchers have opined that this trade happened because of the unrest that the region has seen, in Egypt for example.
