Sure Smells Like a Candidacy

And where were you on Saturday? At Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas with Governor Rick Perry for a gigantic pray-in?

Rick Perry is one of those dudes who doesn't believe in the separation of church and state as long as the church is Christian.

Back in April he had a three day pray-in for rain since Texas has been hit with drought. Last we heard, the state is still suffering from a lack of rain. Maybe God wasn't listening, Governor.

On Saturday the event, a/k/a THE RESPONSE, supported by the American Family Association (an anti-gay hate group), took place so that everyone could pray and fast away America's problems and apparently 8,000 people showed up for it.

Now this isn't the first time the Governor has mixed religion and politics and by all accounts it won't be the last. Yet, he still hasn't committed to running for the GOP Presidential nomination.

In the meantime, Governor Rick has done things that don't please the conservatives, like saying New York State had every right to legalize same sex marriage. Stem cells were also used in his recent back surgery.

Jesus is watching, Governor.
