Right of Way

This young man was Matthew Kenney who was struck and killed by drunk driver, David Weaving, while he was riding his bike in Connecticut in 2007.

Weaving was sentenced to ten years for manslaughter and is serving his time. To fill his idle hours he has filed a lawsuit against Matthew's parents. He claims they were negligent in allowing their 14-year-old son to ride a bike without a helmet.

Weaving hit him while driving 83 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone. Really think a helmet would have helped him, Dave?

Next thing you know shooters will be suing their victims' families for getting in the way of their bullets.
