The Russians are Coming! The Russians are Coming!

You may recall that last week Somali pirates were captured by a Russian naval ship.

Word comes today that the boat in which they were released must have sunk. Oh well.

Okay, so the Russians took away all their communication and navigation devices when they put them back in the water. Some unidentified crazy rights' advocate said it would have been more humane to hang them from the yardarm.

I'm thinking taking these dudes to trial would be just way more trouble than it was worth and I think that's what the Russians were thinking. Whether or not their boat sank or they were made to walk the plank, the pirates should know their chosen profession has its share of danger and not a whole lot of job security.
