No Cookies in these Boxes

This comes under the mantle of 'I told you so.'

Apparently in Oregon, six boxes of evidence have been uncovered regarding the sexual abuse of boys in one of my least favorite organizations ~ The Boy Scouts of America. The boxes reportedly contain the files detailing case after case of child abuse by leaders and how the BSA ignored and/or covered up the allegations.

People, people, when are you going to listen to me?

You don't take little boys, dress them up in quasi-military uniforms and then send them out with grown men wearing shorts. That is asking for trouble, just like you don't let young boys become altar servers and spend time behind closed doors with priests. Perverts hang where there are young kids and wait for the opportunity to exploit them.

I can only hope parents wise up. After all, moms and dads, Boy Scouts don't even sell cookies.
