Nature Sucks and It's Still Trying to Kill You

If you weren't buried in a snow drift this winter, chances were good that this weekend's nor'easter (that's sailor talk for a storm blowing in that direction) might have taken you, your car or your house out for the count.

This storm was as bad as any I've ever seen, mainly for the length of time it battered the NY metropolitan region. It killed at least seven people in the area, caused massive power outages and crazy-ass flooding.

One of nature's favorite tricks is to uproot trees and land them on the heads of the unsuspecting so consider yourself warned if you survived this storm.
