Who is this Guy and Why Does He Want to be the Junior Senator from NY?

This dude's name is Harold Ford and he is from Tennessee. Because of the crazy New York carpetbagger laws he is trying to get elected to the U.S. Senate from the Empire State. He's thrown his ten gallon hat (do they wear those in Tennessee?) in the ring opposite Senator Kirsten Gillibrand who was selected to fill Senator Hillary Clinton's seat when she left to become Secretary of State. Oh and of course, Hillary wasn't from New York either, but at least we'd heard of her and she didn't have a southern accent.
You do sort of have to pay income taxes in New York if you want to be elected Senator, and as of today, Harold Ford never has. That doesn't stop him from claiming to have moved to New York in 2007.
I don't know about you, but I would have issues voting for someone who has already started lying through his teeth just to get on the ballot.
Please go back to Tennessee, Mr. Ford.
