Put Your Pradas Where Your Mouth Is

Pope Benedict XVI is on a roll this week. Obviously lamenting the loss of the Papal States, he has seen fit to stick his Aryan nose into affairs that really have nothing to do with the Vatican.

He plans on visiting Britain in September and apparently is a wee bit upset about legislation passed in the UK that affords gay couples equal rights when it comes to adoption. So, stay home. Great Britain can find a ton o'better things to do with the 20,000,000 pounds it's going to take to pay for your jaunt.

PBXVI is also throwing his support behind the 80,000 striking Fiat workers in Italy as they protest job losses in Sicily. Well, that's all well and good but the automaker is trying to save the company and make money, something the Vatican does itself while not even selling a tangible product.

Gee, if it wasn't for all those pedophile priests and lawsuits galore maybe the Vatican could keep Fiat afloat.

And as for gay rights in England, PBXVI wears shoes only a gay man could love.
