Five Fabulous Years

Yes, dear readers, five years ago today we launched this blog with our first entry entitled Freezing. And guess what? It's still freezing! That's what happens when you start things in the winter.

For all who visit on a regular basis (you know who you are) thank you! Hope you keep coming.

That's Miss Universe and Miss U.S.A. at Beth Israel Hospital in New York. Although the hospital has been referred to as Death Israel, we're not sure what they're doing or why they're dressed in protective hospital gear. Are they trying to prevent infection to themselves? Or to others?

But the crowns! Dear God! Shouldn't they be wrapped in plastic?
