Steve Phillips, unable to keep his pants on
Brooke Hundley, Glenn Close wanna-be
Apparently ESPN sports analyst and former NY Mets General Manager, Steve Phillips, suffers from Powerful Man Syndrome wherein, as Bill Clinton once opined, you have middle-aged married men having sexual relationships with younger women because they can. It's a power thing, not necessarily a sex thing.
And you've got to ask yourself why old Steverino would put his life and livelihood on the line for the likes of Brooke Hundley even had he not known she made Glenn Close's character in Fatal Attraction look positively normal. Brooke went after Steve's wife and son in a not-so-very-nice fashion.
Well, gig's up for Mr. Phillips as ESPN has fired him, and now reportedly Miss Hundley has left ESPN's employ perhaps to pursue her interest in boiling rabbits.
Best of all Steve has entered a 'treatment facility' to sort out his personal problems. Is there actually rehab available for chronic assholes? I hadn't heard.
