Uh oh. You guys are in trouble.By you guys I mean the two pilots flying a Northwest Airlines jet from San Diego to Minneapolis on Wednesday night. Apparently they were so busy arguing with each other that they overshot their destination by 150 miles. Oops. It wasn't till a flight attendant rattled their cage that they got their act together.
Alarmingly they never noticed that they hadn't been in radio contact with air traffic control nor did they see they had passed the bright lights of the big city.
Although they claim they weren't arguing they might have fallen asleep or done any number of things that are big No-Nos when you're flying an Airbus A320 with 144 passengers on board.
The Federal Aviation Administration tends to get a bit testy when jetliners are flying without human intervention at 30,000 feet.
