Major League Baseball has done the righteous thing and rescheduled a Yankees/Red Sox game that interfered with the observation of Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year.
The game had been scheduled for 1pm and was changed to 8pm on September 27th to accomodate ESPN. ESPN is owned by Disney, as is almost everything in the U.S.
Why has the baseball world been modified to accomodate ESPN at all? What the hell is with Sunday night games starting at 8pm? Baseball used to be played in the daytime when it wouldn't have been feasible to have 50,000 fans holding lit candles for a night game.
