The London based Catholic Truth society has published a book for married couples. It's got a whole lot of prayers in it but the one that's attracting the most attention is "Prayer Before Making Love."
The prayer to be said before having sex is all about purifying the intentions of the couple so that the sexual act is not about hedonism or selfishness and I suppose not about fun either.
The entire message of the book is clear. You will stay married forever no matter how miserable you are.
According to the Daily Mail:
It criticises 'those who, in our times, consider it too difficult, or indeed impossible, to be bound to one person for the whole of life, and those caught up in a culture that rejects the indissolubility of marriage and openly mocks the commitment of spouses to fidelity'.
And if things don't work out of course you can buy an annulment and pretend you never were married in the first place.
