In an unexpected and unprecedented good move, Tony Bernazard was dismissed as the vice president of player personnel for the team today. He could not possibly have been doing his job with one bad move after another regarding personnel.
Tony was not well loved in his five years with the Metropolitans and with good reason. There are those who would say that Tony was shown the door because of some pieces written by NY Daily News reporter Adam Rubin who was gunning for his job, but really we think it's just because Tony's a dick.
Actually, we think General Manager Omar Minaya is a dick too, but one step at a time, fans. Don't give up hope. Maybe Fred Wilpon (shown above with Bernazard) will kick his sorry ass out of the clubhouse.
