In case you hadn't heard, there won't be any Federal money for New York City to hire new police officers.Yup. The feds had $1 billion to keep police on the beat and decided that NYC wasn't worthy or maybe didn't need the money 'cause you know, nothing bad ever happens there. And terrorists clearly avoid the Big Apple. There weren't any dollars for Seattle, Pittsburgh or Houston.
Okay, so who is getting the money?
Rochester, NY. Philadelphia ~ which is a blessing. Kalamazoo, Michigan ~ a hotbed of lawlessness since Derek Jeter left.
The roughly 1,000 places getting COPS aid also include: Mobile, Ala., Mesa, Ariz., Tulare County, Calif., Monroe County, Fla., the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Baltimore, Providence, R.I., Salt Lake City, Utah, and Huntington, W.Va.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida? What? They need more security in their casinos?
Salt Lake City? Why? To stop gays from kissing?
