A few days ago we suggested that when the biopic of Mayor Rob Ford's life is filmed that Philip Seymour Hoffman be selected to play the crack-smoking mayor of Toronto.
Well, Mr. Hoffman must have heard us and has evidently already done some preparatory work for the role.
We learned the other day that Hoffman has already completed a detox program for abusing heroin.
That's what we like. An actor who throws himself completely into his work.
