Just when it appeared that everyone in America had either forgotten about or forgot to care about the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, we have some new information about the shooter, Adam Lanza.
Seems his mama (who we opined was crazy in her own right) gave him a Christmas card with a check inside for the purchase of a C183 firearm. Since there is no weapon with that name, she probably meant some other firearm like maybe a CZ-83 handgun. But who knows what the hell gun she meant since she no doubt wanted him to secure every weapon known to mankind?
In any event he didn't need another stinking gun. He had plenty! And he even left over 1,000 rounds of ammo at home when he went off to shoot innocent children, teachers and administrators after shooting mama in the face.
The speed with which he shot his victims with his automatic weapon is breathtaking. His shooting spree, which lasted less than five minutes, left behind 154 spent casings.
Yet Congress is still behaving as if this never happened and that there is no need to even try to prevent future events of this kind from ever happening again.
