The Devil Made Me Do It

Here's our thinking:

If you believe you need an exorcism you are more than likely a card carrying lunatic.

Take the unidentified Virginia woman who is currently suing the employer of a priest she hired to exorcise her over a two year period, Human Life International, an anti-abortion ministry, as well as the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and its bishop, Paul S. Loverde.

She is not suing the actual exorcist, Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, since they settled out of court.

In 2008, Euteneur told her he could rid her of unclean spirits.  It seems part of his modus operandi was to sexually molest her.  Did he think he was going to chase out her unclean spirits with his unclean spirits?

As is the Catholic Church's tradition, the horny priest was moved to Florida rather than being prosecuted for his sins.  Of course when the Diocese of Palm Beach found out what he'd done they sent him for counseling.  Oh, sure, that was a good idea.


No word on whether or not the woman is still possessed.
