Seems that a woman named Patty White, who obviously ought to start thinking about joining a Christmas Club, decided to murder family friend, Michele O'Dowd, so she could take O'Dowd's debit cards and hit the holiday sales. Oh, we should mention that when White fell on hard times O'Dowd had taken her in to her South Carolina home, thus proving no good deed goes unpunished.

White then covered up the deceased with a ton o'presents where O'Dowd was discovered by her twin brother.

The twin opined that there was nothing worse than coming home and finding your sister brutally murdered over a stupid debit card. We would hazard a guess that there's nothing worse than finding your brutally murdered sister under the Christmas tree no matter what the reason.
