We have blogged a couple of times about Oscar winning songwriter, Joseph Brooks, who wrote that awful song, "You Light Up My Life."After composing the song that made Debby Boone infamous, Mr. Brooks apparently spent the rest of his life luring young female hopefuls to his apartment and trying to rape them.
He was in a whole heap o'trouble -- awaiting trials for 82 counts of various sex crimes and on the verge of losing his apartment for an unpaid multi-million dollar debt.
Not to mention his son is the accused murderer of fashion designer, Sylvie Cachay.
Well, yesterday Joseph Brooks ended it all by leaving a rambling three page suicide note and his head covered with a plastic dry cleaning bag, obviously remembering such things are not toys.
