Today freshman senator Rand Paul proved that he has absolutely no right to be a voting member of Congress. In fact, he proved he shouldn't be given any more responsibility than trying to pry a feather from his molasses covered fingers.
Somehow he managed to reduce fetuses to lightbulbs in a sort of anti-choice rant while he laments the fact that he cannot buy a toilet that works. All this happened at the Senate Energy and National Resources Committee meeting wherein he questioned Kathleen Hogan, the deputy assistant energy secretary for efficiency.

Senator Paul equates women not being forced to carry pregnancies to term with the rest of us poor slobs being forced to buy toilets that don't flush our crap and cost more because they save energy.
You really should see it for yourself.

I still don't really understand what he was going for here, but I hear they offered to get him a new toilet.
