You're Doing it Wrong

It seems like only yesterday we commented on personal notices in the newspaper to dead people and we wondered if the deceased actually looked in the paper to see if their loved ones still remembered them after they'd passed on.

Now since this is the internet age, there's a new twist to that story.

Is there a Facebook in the afterlife? Are the deceased checking to see if they've been defriended just because they're dead?

"Oh, Uncle Blah Blah Blah, we miss you soooooo much! Can it be that God took you to heaven only three years ago?"

"Dearest Auntie, we still love you and miss you! You were too young to go!"

People, even if there is a heaven you can be sure there isn't an internet connection. Even if there was, they would not be wasting their afterlife hanging on Facebook. Dead people are not reading your Facebook posts.

Please, please stop posting to dead people. They're not reading your messages and it only annoys everyone else.

Thank you.
