Monkey Business

I don't know where to begin with this one. Maybe if I just recount the facts, step by step, it will all make sense. Or not.

This woman is named Mamie Manneh and she has eight kids. She's also raising three others who came from God knows where.

On Friday a federal judge sentenced her to probation for smuggling monkey meat into New York. She maintains she has a constitutional right to eat bushmeat. Even primatologist Jane Goodall stepped in, writing a letter to the judge urging him to put Mamie in the slammer.

Mamie 'Monkeybreath' Manneh has eleven prior arrests including one for running over her husband's suspected mistress with an SUV.

Clearly or not so clearly one of her daughters called her a 'supermom.' Super because she cooks up a mean batch of chimpanzee or knows how to take care of her baby daddy's other woman?

In any event the judge told her that should there be a next time, 11 or 32 kids she's going right to jail and not passing go.
