Have You Seen the Little Piggies...

Okay, I admit to being paranoid probably because I sat under my desk in the 1950s while the air raid sirens wailed and we were told school desks would protect us from nuclear fallout.

Maybe that's why I'm not surprised that already there's a problem with some of the swine flu vaccine given to children.

According to the AP:

The recall is for about 800,000 pre-filled syringes intended for young children, ages 6 months to nearly 3 years. The shots, made by Sanofi Pasteur, were distributed across the country last month and most have already been used, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

When the vaccine was produced it was tested and found to be 'strong enough.' A week later the vaccine lost its strength and no one seems to know why.

Of course the CDC is telling everyone not to worry, that the vaccine is still safe. Everyone get back under your desks.
