Serena Throws F Bombs at U.S. Open

Serena Williams got pissed at yesterday's match against Kim Clijsters. First she broke her racquet and was warned.

Then she was called for a foot fault and went totally batshit spraying the court with F-bombs as she verbally attacked the teeny weeny line judge. Serena was cited for unsportsmanlike conduct. Since she'd already given up a point for breaking her tennis stick, she lost the match because of her outburst.

Now you'll hear a lot about umpires and line judges giving the Williams sisters bad calls because they are *ahem* African-Americans. I don't know enough about their tennis matches to know if they get a lot of questionable penalties. Maybe, if they do, it's because they're Jehovah's Witnesses. Or maybe, if they do, it's because nobody likes them.

You have to respect what they've achieved on the court. They have dominated the sport. Personally I don't think it takes that much effort to be a nice champion rather than an horrendous one.

I much prefer watching sweaty men in shorts play tennis, but that's just me.
