Remember Richard Hatch? He was on that "Survivor" show once upon a time which I have to admit I only watched once for about thirty seconds. I think it's still on, doing wonderful things like giving people like Elisabeth Hasselbeck their starts on national television.
Anyway Mr. Hatch won about a million bucks for surviving. Problem was he didn't pay tax on that million and he was convicted of tax evasion and served four years in prison.
Hatch now claims that he wouldn't have gone to prison if he was straight. He believes he was discriminated against because he was gay.
He accused a prosecutor of what he called "egregious" misconduct. "I know without question that there are personal issues involved for the prosecutor," he said.
What the hell does that mean? He made a pass at the prosecutor?
You'll be happy to know, or you should be, that Hatch will still be under house arrest until October 7th.
He claims being incarcerated made him less arrogant. I disagree.
Oh, and Richard, you have to pay taxes on income. Write that on the board 1000 times.

I strongly agree this was a case of discrimination. Hopefully as we progress as a society we will be more accepting of greedy arrogant bastards. We have been persecuting them far too long. It's time to take a stand!
