New Orleans, Louisiana has regained its title as Murder Capital of the United States! Hoorah!
With 64 killings per 100,000 residents, NoLa is far and away the winner with the highest per capita murder rate.
St. Louis, Missouri is a shabby second with 47 murders per 100,000.
I'm no statistician, but if the murders continue at the present rate won't the population decrease so that New Orleans is assured they will always be #1?
