Love Knot

You may have missed the wedding last week of the couple pictured above, Dante White, 28, and Nhiahni Chestnut, 39. They were married in Washington, D.C., the city where they met.

Difference is they met on the streets. They're both homeless. Dante has been living on the streets since he was 14 and was tossed out of his mother's home. Nhiahni has been addicted to drugs and alcohol.

They met nine years ago and have been attending Bible study classes and eating at the soup kitchen at Grace Episcopal Church. After Dante expressed that he wanted to marry the woman of his dreams, congregation members kicked in and fixed them a wedding and a two night honeymoon.

Unfortunately, they're both still unemployed and homeless. Grace Episcopal couldn't fix that.

I'm not sure how I feel about this story except to say that like a lot of crazy impetuous lovebirds seems they've tied the knot without much thought of the future.

What's for dinner, honey?

Your favorite, dear, rock stew!

Rock stew! I love rock stew! Honey, you are the greatest.

I'm just glad, winter is over.

Me too.
