Gandhi's Glasses Go Under Hammer

One of Mahatma Gandhi's relatives is making a last ditch appeal to the Indian government to stop the auction of some of his personal effects.
New York based Antiquorum Auctioneers plans to sell a watch, a pair of sandals, a plate, bowl and eyeglasses this week. Estimates are the items will garner $20,000 - $30,000.
Methinks had he not been cremated, Gandhi would be spinning in his grave right about now.
