Wal*Mart Fire Sale

News comes from Bloomingdale, Illinois of 58-year-old Wal*Mart employee, Larry Graziano, setting fire to himself outside the store where he worked. Unfortunately, Mr. Graziano died from his injuries. Although several people tried to douse the flames, Larry fought them off. He told police he "couldn't take it any more."

Very sad, but I would like to thank Mr. Graziano posthumously for not taking any one with him when he decided to opt out. Let this be a lesson to all you other middle-aged men. It's not necessary to take your loved ones, or total strangers, with you when you commit suicide. You can go solo.

I can't help but wonder just what it was that Larry couldn't take any more. Was it working at Wal*Mart or just life in general?

Sadly, we will never know.
