Shortly after being named the sexiest man in the world, he's been tapped to host the Oscars in 2009.
He won an Emmy in 2005 for hosting the Tony Awards in 2004. He also won a Tony that year for his role in "The Boy from Oz." That all seems terribly confusing. Could he also conceivably win an Emmy for hosting the Oscars?
Hopefully it will help him get over starring opposite Nicole Kidman in the continental flop, "Australia."
