In the past week Yankee fans have been given the gifts of C.C. Sabathia and A.J. Burnett, and now, in perhaps the best present of all, we have Mark Teixeira under the tree.

The Steinbrenners will be paying these guys a lot of money, but, in my opinion, they are worth every penny if they will help the Yankees get to the playoffs and the World Series again.

Last season I watched Teixeira play and wished he was on our team.
