Welcome to Spamalot

One of the 13 Spam restaurants in Austin, MN
In case you were wondering where Spam comes from, and we don't mean the Spam that shows up in your in-box, it comes from Austin, Minnesota.
It's manufactured by the Hormel Foods Corporation and since July two shifts of workers have been toiling seven days a week to pump out this sort-of meat product due to the high demand.
A 12-ounce can of Spam, marketed as “Crazy Tasty,” costs about $2.40.
When times are tough, Americans race to buy sort-of food. Other sort-of foods that are selling well:
  • Velveeta
  • Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
  • Jell-O
  • Kool-Aid
  • Pancake mixes
  • Instant potatoes
