He was going to wait till Wednesday after the election, but figured what the hell? So what if his endorsement alienates voters who see him as Lucifer?

Definitely motivated by feelings of inadequacy. He overcompensated by becoming ruthless and self-righteous. That's what happens when your name is Dick but you feel Dickless.
The fact that his party lost will not affect him whatsoever. He really doesn't give a shit about anything. No soul.
