Clothes Make the Woman

Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin denied she had spent $150,000 in clothes during an interview with a Chicago Tribune Staffer.

"That whole thing is just, bad!" she said. "Oh, if people only knew how frugal we are."

I don't think there was any question about the Palins' thriftiness. It's pretty damn frugal to get other people to pick up the tab for $150,000 worth of clothes. Hell, if I could, I would.

Anyway, she says the clothes didn't cost that much, they were bought for the convention, and they will be given back.

Given back? To whom? I can picture the sales associates piling up the sweat stained jackets with baby puke on them. Delightful.

I think it's obvious that she has problems with clothes. It's about time she comes out of the closet.
